Cookie and Tracking Notice

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Who we are

The German House SARL ("TGH", "we", "us") is a language and exam center in Lebanon. This notice supplements our Privacy Policy. For any question about it or your data, use the contact details on our Contact page or contact us on WhatsApp.

What this notice covers

This notice explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on our public website and how we measure visits to it. Information you give us when you register for a course or an exam, or sign in to your student account, is handled as part of that service.

Storage that is always on (necessary)

Some storage is needed for the website to work, for example to remember your language, keep your session secure and remember your privacy choices. This does not need your consent and cannot be switched off here.

Optional storage: your choice

Optional categories are off by default. Nothing is loaded from Google or Meta until you accept the matching category. You can accept or reject each category separately.

Analytics (Google Tag Manager and Google tools)

If you accept, we may measure how the website is used: which pages, courses and exams are viewed and when a contact button is clicked, so that we can improve the website. Google is the provider and data may be processed outside your country. We do not send your name, phone number, email or the content of any message to analytics.

Advertising (Meta Pixel via Google Tag Manager)

If you accept, we load the Meta Pixel so that we can measure the performance of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and show our ads to relevant audiences. The Pixel records page views and clicks on our contact buttons. Meta is the provider and data may be processed outside your country. We have turned off automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection, so we do not send form contents or personal details to Meta.

What a contact click means

A contact click records only that a contact button (WhatsApp, telephone or email) was pressed. It does not tell us who you are and it does not mean you registered or paid.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Privacy settings in the website footer. Withdrawing stops further collection and reloads the page. It does not erase information that has already been sent. Cookies already set by Google or Meta can also be removed in your browser settings. Your choices are kept in your browser for up to 180 days and we ask again if this notice changes materially.

Legal basis

Where the law requires it, we rely on your consent for optional analytics and advertising storage. Necessary storage supports the operation of a secure website.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent at any time, by contacting us through the details on our Contact page.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows the latest version.
